Pulleys - Couplings clutches
Pulleys, couplings and clutches are used for a variety of industrial applications. They transmit power from the motor (combustion or electrical) to other auxiliary units such as pumps or compressors. They work on the principle of centrifugal force. The outer rim of the blocks is covered with friction-resistant material and they are flexibly attached to the hub by means of three springs; due to centrifugal force the calibration of the springs allows a gradual movement away from the diameter when resting, until the blocks adhere fully to the work surface. Standard M.G.P. production features: Automatic friction pulleys Automatic friction couplings Automatic clutches Automatic friction couplings allow the transmission of motion between motor and mechanism when the axes of each are aligned. The connection is achieved by a suitable housing. The series of expansion clutches allows for direct connection to the cap by means of 8 threaded screw holes. |
